We are currently looking for a pastoral associate who would partner with us to invest in the growing youth community within our church and region.
WHO? Someone passionate about discipling youth and young adults in the way of Jesus. Someone excited to build a community with a sense of a belonging and equip youth to impact their friends, families, and schools. Someone with relational and team building experience. Someone who can adapt to a changing environment over the next few years.
WHY? There is so much potential to connect, encourage, disciple, and equip the next generation.
Our church has been experiencing a season of growth, with many families, youth, and young adults following Jesus and being engaged in ministry. Over 30% of our church community is under the age of 25.
Looking at our local region, the West Island alone has 12 high schools (6 english, 6 french), with more schools in the regions west and east of us. There are many youth longing for hope and life beyond us.

Westside Gathering is a mission-focused church; our ministries, events, and community outreach are integral to the life of our church. Our mission is to connect people to a growing relationship with Christ and each other. Our ministry focus is building discipleship environments that develop faithful and fruitful followers of Jesus on mission in their neighborhoods and networks.
Westside was planted in 2003 in the West Island of Montreal, Canada; a largely English-speaking and multicultural region, 20 minutes away from the downtown city core. It has been our vision to see lives transformed, relationships flourishing, and communities impacted.
In this season, we have sensed God calling us to make room for more among us and beyond us. We recently added a second Sunday gathering. We also have a vision to create stronger discipleship paths, which includes multiplying our community groups, our growing ALPHA course, and more intentional pockets of ministry and mission.
THIS ROLE is open immediately, with the addition of an associate pastor role and ministry associate roles planned for near future.
