We are currently looking for a pastoral associate who would partner with us to invest in the growing youth community within our church and region.
WHO? Someone passionate about discipling youth and young adults in the way of Jesus, building a community with a sense of a belonging and equipping youth to impact their friends, families, and schools.
WHY? Over 30% of our church community (just reflected in Sunday engagement) is under the age of 25; and how many more longing for hope and life beyond us.
Approximately 85 kids, 30 youth, and dozens of 20 somethings engage with us regularly on Sundays with more part of our church community. There so much potential to connect, encourage, disciple and equip the next generation.
The West Island alone has 12 high schools (6 english + 6 french), as well as schools in our region west and east us.
Our church has been experiencing a season of growth with many families, youth and younger adults following Jesus and engaged in ministry.

Westside Gathering is a missionally focused church; our ministries, events and community outreach are integral to the life and mission of our church. Our mission is to connect people to a growing relationship with Christ and each other. Our ministry focus is building discipleship environments that develop faithful and fruitful followers of Jesus on mission in their neighborhoods and networks.
Westside was planted in 2003 in the West Island of Montreal, Canada; a largely English-speaking and multicultural region, 20 minutes away from the downtown city core. It has been our vision to see lives transformed, relationships flourish and communities impacted.
In this season we have sensed God calling us to make room for more among us and beyond us, recently adding a second Sunday gathering as well as vision and equipping for a stronger discpleship path that includes multiplying our community groups, our growing ALPHA course and more intentional pockets of ministry and mission.
THIS ROLE is open immediately, with the addition of an associate pastor role and a ministry associate role planned for the fall.
